During the initial development of the league, we discussed many different avenues of approach for handling sponsorship inquiries. I developed a marketing strategy not only for the league itself, but more importantly, for the benefit of the sponsors.

 

Beginning with the 2010-2011 season, for participation and support sponsors recieve the following return on investment:

  • Ad space on the league's website
  • Periodic ad postings on Facebook
  • Weekly scores are posted on:
    • League website
    • Facebook

    • WDLB 1450 radio
    • Marshfield News Herald

The amount of exposure that sponsors recieve from the Stratford Star League is second to none in central Wisconsin. The weekly scores reach more than 50,000 viewers in print alone.
