  • Served as a Platoon Leader and the Compound Duty Officer supervising over 50 soldiers and over 100 high value detainees
  • Served as an Investigating Officer of 2 FLIPLs (Financial Liability Investigation of Property Loss), under the direction of the Battalion Commander, at Camp Cropper, Iraq, June 2009
  • Formulated and managed the Army Weight Control Program for Alpha Battery, 2009
  • Served as the IT liaison organizing Verizon wireless internet plans/packages for over 50 Soldiers while training at Camp McGregor, NM, totaling over $7500 in savings, Mar - Apr 2009
  • Served as the Unit Coordinator for the Combined Federal Campaign 2009, created a unit wide competition resulting in the highest Soldier percentage involvement in the Battalion
  • Played a significant role in the successful planning and execution of the Morale and Welfare days at Camp McGregor, a 2 day, 4 team softball tournament, April 2009
  • Worked in conjunction with the sales and design departments of Midwest Apparel to ensure t-shirts and apparel were available for online purchase for Soldiers and their families, Nov 2009 - Jan 2010
  • Developed and managed a unit-wide flag football league, which resulted in much needed team comradery and distraction from the stresses of our operation
